Affiliate Marketing Terms and Conditions

By signing up as an affiliate with Global Background Screening, LLC (GBS), you agree to the following terms and conditions.

 

Commissions

​

For a sale to generate a commission to an Affiliate, the customer must complete the order form and remit full payment for the product. Intros are also welcome and if closed, it will also count as a sell. Commissions will be paid on sales that are made when the customer clicks through qualified, correctly structured Affiliate links, intro and closed by our team, or through custom ecommerce checkout portals created by GBS. Manual referrals are also available. If you referred someone, but they did not use your link, simply email info@getgbs.com with the applicant's NAME, EMAIL and time of order. We will then confirm from our end and provide you credit for the sale.

Affiliate will receive 10% of the service ordered. The term is 5 full years of the life of the account. If the sale requires us to reduce pricing, we will contact you for a negotiation of commission. The commission will not go lower than 8% regardless of how low client needs to go to close sale.  

 

Properly coded links are the sole responsibility of the affiliate. Commissions can be viewed on the Affiliate Dashboard.

 

Payment

Payments will be paid out via PayPal, Zelle, Mail or Wire Transfer. Payments will be made 30 days after approved sale.

Refunds

​

In the event a customer requests a refund for a transaction for which the Affiliate has earned commissions, any commissions earned on the refund amount will be deducted from the Affiliate’s balance.

Usage and Obligations

​

Affiliates are permitted to use the GBS logo and marketing resources available in the Affiliates section of the Dashboard. Logos cannot be modified. The Affiliate does not gain any trademark, copyright or any other rights to these materials.

The Affiliate will never represent themselves, GBS or their relationship with GBS in a false or misleading way.

​

The Affiliate will not engage in the distribution of an unsolicited bulk email (spam) mentioning or referencing GBS.

 

Term and Termination

​

Either party has the right to terminate the agreement immediately without prior notice.

If the Affiliate terminates the agreement, no further commissions from GBS will be paid for any past or future customer transactions.

If GBS chooses to terminate the agreement, any balance greater than $20 USD will be paid to the affiliate within 30 days of termination.

​

Governing Law

​

This Agreement shall be governed, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

Landing Page Creation

​

On an effort to help all affiliates, out IT team will create a separate landing page for your company with your own e-commerce background check store to help you sell easier if needed. If you'd like to increase prices or create your own background check packages for your own referrals, simply request all this info to info@getgbs.com and on subject line type: Affiliate landing page request.  

 

Arbitration

​

All claims and disputes arising under or relating to this Agreement are to be settled by binding arbitration in the State of Georgia. An award of arbitration may be confirmed in a court of competent jurisdiction.
