STD Lab Test FAQ
Why Order An Anonymous Lab Test and not an In-Home Test?
The Lab test is much more affordable compared to the in-home test that is shipped to your house.

Our labs are available in all 50 states in the USA and typically no more than 5-10 miles from your location.
What Are The Main Benefits Of a Confidential STD Test?
Our partner labs aren't going through your insurance, so none of your results will be stored on your medical records. ONLY YOU will know that you were tested.
What's the Process?

Once the sample is complete, your results will be online typically in 1-2 days.
What Type of Health STD Tests do you offer?
Tests offered are a 10-panel for ALL common STDs. All tests are FDA-approved and labs are CLIA-certified, meaning they are the top of the line.

What Are the Most Common STDs?
We’ve all been in a sex-ed class back in middle school, but times change, and things happen. Here is the lowdown on common STI’s and their unique signs, symptoms, and the ultimate question… if it’s curable. Deep diving the nitty gritty below.
What is Hepatitis A?
Commonly referred to as Hep A, and most often transmitted via dirty needles among IV drug users. But what we didn’t learn in middle school sex-ed is that it is actually a sexually transmitted infection, most likely from anal sex.

How Do you prevent Hepatitis A?
WASH YOUR HANDS… and those nasty toys! Isn’t this the anthem of 2020, but it really should be the tune of our lives.

Is Hepatitis A Curable?
It is! No antibiotics required, and usually does not cause long term liver damage like other hep’s do. You should be fully recovered in 14-30 days from exposure.
What is Hepatitis B?
If you’ve had a baby, your baby most likely has received this vaccine.
Just like it’s sister above, it can be transmitted via dirty needles, unsafe sex, and passed to babies during childbirth. This can change into chronic Hep B, and that is where the liver damage comes in, with the worst case scenario being cirrhosis of the liver.

Yes! There is a vaccine. If symptoms do worsen into chronic Hep B, your doctor will provide a workable treatment plan, but most people recover in a few weeks.
What is Hepatitis C?
While it is the rarest among the heps to be transmitted via sex, it’s still possible, especially with blood present, and of the 3, B and C are the most serious.

Is Hepatitis C Curable?
Yes. According to WebMD, over 3 million Americans have long lasting hepatitis C, but they are unaware because the symptoms are often silent. With a regiment of some pills over a 12 week period, you should be cleared. You will have test your blood once a month for 3 months in order to be officially free of the infection.
What is HIV?
We have all heard about HIV, but it’s still a mystery to diagnose sometimes. Early signs appear within a week of being exposed, but they often disappear quickly, allowing people to mistake it for a common viral infection.
This is when you are highly infectious- so be courteous of who you are spending your time with. In some cases, it takes over 10 years for the virus to really rear its ugly head, when your symptoms have grown increasingly worse. To maximize your health, you must get tested in order to determine if you are HIV positive, as this virus can lead to AIDS if left untreated.
Symptoms:
-
Fever
-
Sore throat
-
Swollen lymph nodes
-
Rash
-
Fatigue
-
Diarrhea
-
Weightloss
-
Cough
Is HIV Cureable?
Unfortunately no, but it is manageable with perscription meds. The goal is to prevent HIV from manifesting into full blown AIDS.
