Healthcare Worker Background Check Portal (USA)

To become a client, simply visit our Healthcare Worker Background Check service page, select the services you need, and complete the checkout process. You'll then receive an account setup form to access our client dashboard where you can manage your orders.

Once a background check is ordered, applicants will receive an email with a link to an electronic authorization form from backgroundcheck@getgbs.com. They need to fill out this form, provide necessary personal information, electronically sign it, and upload a valid government ID. This secure and straightforward process ensures all required data is collected efficiently for the screening. • MedData Level 1 (Equivalent to FACIS Level 1) includes the OIG (Office of Inspector General) Sanctions Report, which identifies individuals and entities currently excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid, and all Federal health care programs. It also includes checks against the GSA (General Services Administration) list for federal contracts, the SAM (System for Award Management) List, DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) restrictions, and the EPLS (Excluded Parties List System).
• MedData Level 3 (Equivalent to FACIS Level 3) is the most comprehensive, including all checks in Levels 1 and 2, with the addition of searches across OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control), GSA, and Adult & Child Abuse Registries. It also reviews disciplinary boards from all 50 states for any board actions, HEAT (Health Care Fraud Prevention and Enforcement Action Team) Task Force News, State Attorney General News, Medicare/Medicaid Opt-Out Lists, and more. This level is designed for the most thorough due diligence, providing an extensive background check on healthcare professionals, ensuring they meet all federal and state compliance requirements.

The report usually takes 1-3 business days, depending on the specific courts that need to be searched for your applicant's background check.

The social media search includes a review of the applicant's profiles on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest, providing insights into their online presence and behavior.

• There will be a 3.9% credit card processing fee on all cancelled orders after payment is made and applicant has not signed their electronic authorization form.
• No refunds will be given if applicant has signed the authorization form and order status is in "Processing".
