I'M NEW, HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Select the services you need and checkout. If you're a new customer, you'll receive our account setup form that you can sign electronically. You will then receive credentials to our screening platform to view your applicant's status and results.
Meanwhile, your applicants will also receive a request to complete their authorization form electronically from the email address you provide above. Whatever the name you place under "Employer Name" that's what will show for the applicant as the requester of the check.
Once the authorization is signed, you'll receive an email stating "order processing" and the screening process begins.
Once the report is complete, you will receive an email and also view be able to view results on the screening platform. It's that simple!
HOW LONG DO REPORTS TAKE?
We average 1-3 Business Days (Depending on your applicant's courts needing searched, If they have a common name, and how long it takes them to sign their authorization form).
HOW ARE EMPLOYMENT VERIFICATIONS CONDUCTED?
GBS will attempt to contact each past employer, supervisor, and professional organization a maximum of 5 times for a span of 10 business days. If after these attempts, the verification has not been obtained, GBS will record the employer as "Unable to Verify" in the final report. If the verification is received after 10 business days, a supplementary report will be issued.
IS THIS REPORT FCRA COMPLIANT?
Yes, our background check services are fully compliant with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). We adhere to all the guidelines and requirements set forth by the FCRA to ensure the accuracy, privacy, and fairness of the information provided in our background check reports.
REFUND POLICY
- There will be a 3.9% credit card processing fee on all cancelled orders after payment is made and applicant has not signed their electronic authorization form.
- No refunds will be given if applicant has signed the authorization form and order status is in "Processing".
