HOW DO I GET STARTED AS A NEW CLIENT FOR TENANT SCREENING SERVICES?
As a new client, simply select the services you need on our Tenant Screening Checkout page, complete your purchase, and you'll receive an account setup form. Fill this out to gain access to our screening dashboard where you can manage and track your screening orders.
HOW DOES THE APPLICANT SUBMIT THEIR INFORMATION?
The applicant will receive an email from backgroundcheck@getgbs.com with an authorization form. They're required to fill this out, provide the necessary personal information, electronically sign the form, and upload a government ID.
HOW DO I ORDER MULTIPLE SCREENINGS?
Ordering multiple screenings is easy. Simply add the name and email address of each applicant when requested, placing each entry on a new row or separating them by a comma. Then, adjust the "quantity" of the search to match the number of background check applicants you need. This ensures all your required screenings are processed together efficiently. Once you click on "add to cart" you'll see your cart on the top right side of your screen.
CAN I ADD A COUNTY-LEVEL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATOR SEARCH?
Yes, you can enhance your screening beyond the national database search with a comprehensive county-level criminal investigator search, covering 3 counties for an additional $29.99, to dive deeper into the applicant's history.
IS A CREDIT REPORT AVAILABLE?
Absolutely. You can add a detailed credit report, including the FICO score, to your screening for an extra $25.00, providing critical financial insights into your potential tenant.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE THE SCREENING REPORT?
The average turnaround time for receiving a screening report is 1 business day, depending on the complexity and breadth of the checks ordered. If an indepth criminal investigator search is added, the report on average takes 2-3 business days.
